During the summer, Heart-2-Heart's founder, Ekin Aygen, was interviewed by Jen Murphy, a journalist from Children's Hope Alliance. Jen wrote a feature article about Ekin's journey as a nonprofit founder, which was published in Journey Magazine, the organization's publication sent to all of its donors. What an incredible honor!
I can not explain how happy I am that Heart -2- Heart is finding new ways to help others, even during this hard time.
Family is the most important thing, and the fact that this one was able to connect over pizza, just makes me smile more.
Unfortunately, we were unable to get some pictures with the staff of My Sister's House (A women's shelter in Charlotte), however, we are so glad that we were able to meet with one of our closest contacts at Children's Hope Alliance for a little donation photoshoot!
Unfortunately, we were unable to get pictures of this particular pizza party, but today in the mail, we had received this beautiful little card from our contact at Children's Hope Alliance, thanking us for the pizza party we hosted for Independent Living and King home on their campus! How wonderfully thoughtful.
